How a Dog Joins Us
Our structure for a dog joining is mostly the same between services to ensure that your pup is set up for success and feels as comfortable as possible when they begin their adventures out with us. It can be overwhelming for pups at first so we take the time for them to bond with us, get familiar with our van and meet some of the dogs prior to a full day out.

Fill in Enrolment Form
The first step is to fill in our enrolment form which provides the company with all needed info on you and your dog to begin the induction process.

Meet & Greet
The company owner, Maddy, will organise a time to come over to your home for a Meet & Greet. This is free and is an important part so that everyone gets to meet each other and Maddy can answer any and all questions you may have before your dog comes out with the company. This is when an evaluation of the dog for Farm Adventures or Small Dog Social Club happens. From here they are the first to be collected on their day and are gently introduced to the dogs as they are collected.

Induction Walk - Pack Hikes Only
A solo local walk with the senior pack leader and your dog. This is to establish a relationship, begin teaching them the leash manners for pack walking and to introduce them to the van. It is approx 45 minutes and helps set up your dog to understand what they can expect.

Local Mini Pack Walk (1-3 times)
Dependant on what the dog needs, a local pack walk with 2-3 dogs who will be on their pack days to help introduce them and to refine the skills they need to attend the pack hike. From here they will have their first pack hike and be on lead before transitioning to a long line and eventually off lead once they are suitable for it. We never rush our training to ensure safety of each dog.
