Here at The Canine Country Estate (formerly known as Paws in Line), premium care for your pet is a non-negotiable. Founded and run by a qualified dog trainer, Madeleine de Vrije, and staffed with a team who have each been in the industry for more than 5 years, we understand how to provide a safe and fun day out for your dog.
Your pet isn't our only priority however, YOU, the dog owner are too. We pride ourselves on fantastic communication, daily photos and videos to ensure transparency and the flexibility and care one would expect from a premium service.

Pack hikes
Your dog heads out to varied locations each week between the beach, forest, farmlands etc and has a structured pack hike. This includes leash training, recall and social manners being taught. They learn how to become a polite member of society while having a blast. Perfect for the teenage pup through to the busy active older dogs who need to burn off lots of energy.
Farm Adventures
Hosted at our private farm, your pups come out for a zoom around with their likeminded mates. Securely fenced, toys and paddling pools galore, a fun and safe space for pups to have a play and make new friends.
This service is perfect for the social pup, the shy but wanting to gain confidence pup, the younger puppies and the older dogs who want to go at their own pace.
Small Dog Social Club
A small dog only exclusive club run at our private farm. This allows for our shorter pups to hang out with similar sized dogs and gain confidence and make new friends. Perfect for small dogs who typically find larger dogs a bit scary. A little haven for them all to hang out, play chase and wrestle and be spoilt by the team here.
1:1 Training
Wanting some help training your dog at home? Our senior trainers can come over, address the concerns and help train your pup so that any issues or frustrations are resolved and you can get back to enjoying your dog. Our reward based training methods are simple and effective and focused around being realistic for a busy household to replicate.
Puppy Socialisation
Contact us about our puppy socialisation program. This involves a combination of having the pups brought out to the farm to meet safe adult dogs and learn how to be socially well behaved and training walks in your local area to help teach your puppy how to handle all the exciting stimulus on the streets and be well behaved on lead and off lead.
Janet & Loki
Maddy and her team have walked our sensitive, dopey beautiful border collie X golden retriever Loki since he was 8 months old. He’s nearly six, so we have all known Maddy, Lennie and their other gorgeous dog walkers/carers since 2020.
Loki absolutely loves Maddy and Lennie and we do too. He is so well-loved by them as he’s taken-care of like a family member. Maddy is incredibly professional and aware of how the pack interacts with others, individually and as a group. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her and her colleagues to anyone who would like their wee canine to experience dog adventures and boarding.
